Denali Hershey Kauffman & Kenji Ono Lancaster | DUO

($10-$20 tickets + taxes and fees | 6:30pm show) Keyboardist Denali Hershey Kauffman and drummer Kenji Lancaster form a boundary-pushing jazz/fusion duo that blurs the lines between improvisation, groove, and electronic experimentation. The band draws inspiration from other genre-bending collaberative keyboard/drum duos like Mehliana (Brad Mehldau & Mark Guiliana) and DOMi & JD Beck. Expect spontaneous improvisation, chopped-up beats and ethereal textures.
